The club has a fantastic atmosphere that suits not only families but also the wide variety of people we have as members. We help this congenial feeling by having a roster system which allocates all club jobs from firewood to dishes.
KIDS
The club atmosphere for the children is fantastic. Once the day's skiing is finished there is always plenty for them to do; Tobogganing, building more ski jumps, digging snow caves, or if the weather is poor then the pool table or fooze ball tables are well used. Screens are encouraged to stay in the bags!
The friendships that are made within the club environment and on the ski fields are often long lasting and everyone certainly has a fantastic time.

Relaxing
The club is extremely spacious with 3 main areas for enjoying the comaraderie. Outside on the evening sun deck, in the lounge in front of the fire or relaxing in the dining room. There is always a spot either quiet or social enough for everyone.
Club Junior Races
Each year the club has 2 race events, the Junior/Intermadiate races and the Senior Races, both held on separate weekends. The Junior races are generally held in the middle week of a school holidays with all kids of all levels participating. The kids all enjoy it and noone goes home empty handed!
Senior Race Week
Each year there is long Senior Weekend (Thursday - Sunday) where only seniors are allowed to stay in the club. It starts with a themed dinner party on the Thursday night, some sort of "quiet entertainment' on the Friday and the Senior Races on the Saturday. The race day is held to compete against Havelock and the East Coast club
which is highly competitive in a very amateur race course.
Generally the Thursday dinner is more of an event than the Saturday Races, but whichever way you look at it it is always a thoroughly enjoyable long weekend! Themed dinners have ranged from Bavarian, The French affair, Summer BBQ, Punk, to Onesies.
